The story · built in public
Built by one human and a constitution.
Windrose Institute is a one-person company that runs the same discipline it sells: decisions are recorded, evidence is ranked, and nothing is overwritten. This is the log, in the open.

This landing page ranked its own headline.
Before writing a line of the page you are reading, we ran three headlines through Windrose Institute on a simulated population of founders. "Test your idea on 1,000 simulated minds" ranked first, ahead of the anti-category line and the price-pain line. So that is the headline that shipped.
Here is the honest part. That ranking is a direction, not a promise. The evidence label on the run says SIM-RANK, calibration none. After launch we will put the real click-through next to what we simulated, and publish both, whichever way it falls. Simulate, then verify.
If the real world disagrees with the simulation, that is not a failure to hide. It is the single most useful data point we will have, and it goes straight onto the Science page changelog. The first time we grounded a read in a client's own data was the moment §2 and §3 of the constitution were written: calibration only ever flows from reality into the simulation, and "validation" means a blind protocol or it means nothing.
The log so far
The landing ranked its own headline
Three headline variants tested on a simulated founder population. Winner shipped; real numbers to follow.
Evidence label grew a third axis
Added ranking stability and scenario robustness so the label reports how firmly the compass points, not just where.
Decided against percentages, on purpose
Chose direction and ranking over false decimals, and made the evidence label the signature of the product.
